NATURAL HOMES OF NEW ENGLAND - Key Persons

Presently Sean Dalton

Sean began grooming himself at a young age for the building trades as a legomaniac and treefort developer during his childhood in Sewanee, TN. However it wasn't until he was a student at Paul Smith's College when his proclivity for construction was fully realized. While learning about the social and environmental impacts of the built environment he decided to pick up a hammer and join the sustainable building movement. Sean was fortunate to be a part of many exciting and creative projects at Timberhomes LLC that ranged from finished homes and barns to community build projects, and more. During his tenure there he was a part of virtually every facet of the business, and his responsibilities included communicating with clients, project design, drafting plans, supervising employees, web and advertising development, managing the shop, leading projects, and much more. Through his work with the company he vastly improved his carpentry/timberframing skills and knowledge of high-performance building. Some of notable projects that Sean was a part of include being the Project Lead for the Dartmouth College Organic Farm Barn and the Class of '65 Bunkhouse at the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge, which is owned and operated by Dartmouth College, and securing and overseeing a Working Lands Enterprise Grant from the State of Vermont to improve the infrastructure of the shop for the production of building panels.
