NORCCA - Key Persons
Muzamil works as a research assistant at NORCCA. During her Master program in microbiology at Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU, Ås), she gained experience in sterile techniques used in microbiological research with emphasis on molecular methods. Bushra became familiar with microalgae taxonomy by taking a course at the University of Oslo, she received an intensive training in maintaining diverse algae strains and now contributes to smooth running of the culture collection.
Hostyeva is a head engineer and curator for NORCCA. She has a masters degree in marine biology and extensive insight into the morphology and taxonomy of the major phytoplankton groups. Her laboratory skills combined with her knowledge of biology makes her well suited for the day to day operations of the collection.
