VASECTOMY

Your vasectomy will be done at our ambulatory surgical facility. You will arrive having had nothing to eat or drink for the 8 hours prior to the procedure. (You can take your regular medication with a sip of water). After registering at the center you will walk into the procedure room and will lay down on the procedure table. Our board certified anesthesiologist will give you a mild intravenous sedative so you will be asleep during the approximately 7 minute procedure. When you wake up you will be in the recovery room. After 15 minutes in the recovery room you will be allowed to eat and drink and 15 minutes after that you will be allowed to leave the center. You must have a responsible adult drive you home.
