POSITIVE TOASTMASTERS

We are one of the older clubs in San Diego, starting when HP hosted it as a corporate club. It was at that time named HP Toastmasters. When that office was shut down, the club moved to another business and became Carmel Mountain Resonating Speakers. When that business moved out of state, we renamed our Toastmaster Club; Positive Toastmasters. We choose that name as it describes more of who we are regarding our club culture, positive... The Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) award represents the highest level of educational achievement in Toastmasters. For anyone that knows about Toastmasters it is considered the equivalent of getting another college degree. You are required to do several things and serve in a number of rolls to earn a DTM. Positive Toastmasters provides more opportunities for members to participate and thereby earn their DTM more quickly than other area clubs...
