Jacques Vigne

Born in 1956, Jacques VIGNE was very fond of mathematics early on, then, chose to study medicine and psychiatry in Paris. After practicing medicine in Algeria, he received a scholarship to study as a psychiatrist from the Roman Rolland Foundation. He then received a grant from La Maison des Sciences de lHomme to study the connection between psychotherapy recovery and the traditional teaching of Yoga. He has been living in India for 30 years and shares his time between a hermitage located at a height of 2000 meters high in the Himalayas, receiving some teachings and guiding groups. He has written numerous books about science and spirituality, which are a link between Eastern and Western worlds. Jacques VIGNE is the author of major literary works between modern psychology and spirituality, as well as between the wisdom of India and that of Christianity.

Manisha Sharma

Our agency is located on the bank of the sacred river Ganges in Haridwar, 200 km north-east from New-Delhi. Hardwar is the second holy city of India after Banaras, and is with Rishikesh at the place where the Ganges comes out of Himalaya. Teerth Travels was founded by Dinesh Sharma, and his wife Manisha in 2006.

Raja Gharbi

Raja Gharbi has been practicing yoga for the past 35 years. She attended yoga training in 1992, in Morocco, and by Franois Lorin, from 1992 to 1999. She has been participating since 1987 in the Moroccan Association of Yoga (AMI), as an active member and as a president since 2006. She also completed training in Rebirthing with Diana Roberts and Ronald Fuchs in 1999, in pre- and post-natal yoga with Bernadette De Gasquet in 2010 and Yoga Nidra training with Claude Mathieu in 2011. She met different Indian masters including Swami Pathwardhan, Chandra Swami and visited various ashrams in India, where she has been going regularly during the recent years. In 2002, with Driss Benzouine, she created the Sadhana Yoga Center in Casablanca, where different activities are offered: yoga, yoga for kids, yoga maternity, massage, meditation, personal development, and training of yoga teachers. This center organizes stay in the Moroccan desert in India and seminars, retreats, and weekends with various guest teachers in Morocco ... Raja is also much interested in Sufism and met various Sufi masters: Shaykh Hamza of the tariqa (Sufi scool) Kadiriya, sheykh Mustapha Basir of the tariqa Darqawiya and Abdelaziz Benabdellah of the tariqa Tijaniya.
