Joe Spivey

Joe Spivey, a retired Air Force Col., is currently Chairman for Calvert Systems. Since his arrival in 2011, Joe has steadily grown Calvert year after year. As the Omaha lead and later as an owner, Joe grew Calvert's ISR portfolio and solidified a great relationship with our Air Force customers. Calvert Systems primarily serves the Department of Defense and intelligence community. He spent 26 years in the United States Air Force with a variety of operational and leadership positions. Mr. Spivey is currently the president of the 55th Wing Association and a strong believer that people are our greatest asset, and he has run the company with that in mind.

John Cooper is a Retired Air Force Col. and the President & CEO of Calvert Systems. Calvert Systems is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business of nearly twenty years with Assistance and Advisory Support (A&AS) to the United States Government. Specializing in Flight Operations, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR), Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO), Space, and UAS/CUAS. The company began in Calvert County with 3 employees in 2003 and has grown to over 120 employees in 9 states and the District of Columbia today. Mr. Cooper is presently a part of the Offutt Advisory Council and truly believes in supporting retired veterans, and leveraging their unique capabilities to keep building the security of the USA.
