At Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett, we serve students with a range of disabilities, students other schools have given up on, students who often have nowhere else to go. Many of our graduates have gone to college, entered the workforce, and become productive members of our community. We succeed because our teachers understand our students and know how to tailor an individual education approach for each one, an approach that works... Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett opened its doors 27 years ago with four students and has been growing and changing ever since to meet the needs of students. We currently serve 60 students ranging in age from 2 to mid-twenties. There is no typical student at Special Needs Schools of Gwinnett. We have students with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, behavior disorders and many other conditions. No two students have the same challenges, and no two have the same dreams and goals.
