Mike, the quiet chemist, has been crafting original blends for over 12 years. One step into his home and you will immediately know that Mike has a love and great respect for traditions. Much like his collection and appreciation for vintage treasures, Mike's wine pays homage to old world wines with robust and complex flavors that will intrigue the most seasoned of palettes. In 1997, Mike had the opportunity to go to Prosser, Washington to purchase grapes from a local independent grower where he learned about grape ripening, harvesting, and purchasing. The "passion" for Mike started when that wine became a respectable vintage. From this point forward he knew that he wanted to create unique wines with the perfect marriage of high brix to acid retention. Mike and his wife Coda of 30 years are both Lewiston natives. They have two grown kids, daughter Nikki and son Casey, and love to spend time camping and traveling with family and friends. Of course their travels always include trying the local wines along the way!
