VIRGINIA FARMS INC. is the oldest and currently the biggest integrated farm-to-pork swine business in Central Visayas, which started in 1968 as a venture to raise chicken and hogs to supply the growing need of food supply for the owners' shipping company... In order to realize its vision, the company has invested in facilities that will ensure delivery of the best quality pork meat products to the customers. These include the Meat Cutting Plant in Maguikay, Mandaue City and Virginia Slaughterhouse and Meat Plant, which were established in March 8, 2016 and October 8, 2019, respectively... Virginia Farmers Solutions was also established in July 1, 2017 to partner with independent farmers as contract growers and breeders to support the growing requirement of hogs especially with the aggressive expansions of The Pork Shop.
