WIT Sales & Refining is a San Jose California Precious Metals Refinery, that has served the electronics and plating industries since 1980. We are a fully permitted Treatment Facility (TDSF) by the California Department of Toxic Substances Control. Precious metals are recovered and refined from materials and plating solutions that are generated as scrap or contaminants by the electronics industry. Further, we have a high capacity shredder to destroy intellectual property contained in hard disc drives and other recorded media. These recovered metals are refined to .9995 purity completely within our facility occupying a 7,200 sq. foot freestanding building on 1.3 acres. Special operations include metals recovery from, and the cleaning of, vacuum/vaper deposition fixtures and sputtering machine shielding.
