YARRAVILLE CLUB

In 1970 Barney Meddings, Gerry Morrison and Bill Cunningham from the disbanded Kingsville and Yarraville Band Cricket club met with the Committee from the Yarraville club to ask for financial assistance to start a cricket side. The Yarraville club agreed to fund equipment and such was the humble beginnings of the Yarraville Club Cricket Club... From that day on, Yarraville Club Cricket Club has endeavoured to become, and remain, the benchmark club in Melbourne... Established in 1970, Yarraville Club Cricket Club Inc (YCCC) is one of the most prestigious clubs within the Victorian Turf Cricket Association.
