JET-UK is able to signpost Teachers from Jamaica to key agencies, where they can obtain support. This includes recruitment, representation at their schools, professional development and social activities etc... JET-UK aims to expand its membership across the UK in various Towns and Cities, to involve more Diaspora educators and other stakeholders... There are normally two major Board Meetings held each year (Six Monthly) by JET-UK, where all Board Members (BM) only, or invited Stakeholder Members (SM), or Guest(s) are expected to be present if possible. These are normally chaired by the Chair or Vice-Chair of JET-UK. There are also two major meetings for all Members (BM & SM), where only invited guests are allowed to attend. This information would be displayed on our website or sent by email, text messages etc. However, apart from these meetings there are other interim meetings and events in which all members are invited to attend and is expected to take place at selected venues..
