David Hernandez is a Go developer since 2013, he was one of the organizers of the first GopherCon UK conference (2015), and you can usually find him speaking, and collaborating with Go London Users Group. He worked in companies like BBC for the 2012 London Olympics, scaling continuous integration at Atlassian (Sydney), and helping the UK Government at the GDS. He is one of the founders at Machine Box where he has developed state of the art Machine Learning models, and is leading the R&D.
Johanna Cherry is currently working as a freelance DBA. She has spent the last 14 years developing systems and applications with PHP, Go, Cassandra, and lots of other cool web technologies. Over the years she has previously held roles at Songkick as Platform Architect, Data Team Lead at Hailo, Development Manager for the affiliate network Webgains and Technical Team Lead for the PHP consultancy Ibuildings. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Technology Management from Herzing University in Madison Wisconsin.
Mat Ryer has been building products and services for over eighteen years in a variety of industries. A big advocate of open-source his BitBar project has almost 10,000 stars on Github; he is passionate about elegant and simple solutions to hard problems. He is the author of Go Programming Blueprints: Second Edition, and often speaks at conferences around the world. In late-2017 Mat co-founded Machine Box, with the goal of making machine learning accessible to developers of all levels.
Sam Bell is co-founder of digital agency, Copia Digital. He and his team build websites and web applications for asset managers and companies listed on the London Stock Exchange, helping them report on performance to their investors.
