Michael is passionate about working with people in recruitment.
He enjoys working with this dynamic group of people and approaching recruitment in a way that is a little different to other companies. His curious, innovative and open-minded approach has directed our brand and he has formed a team of like-minded individuals.
Michael has been instrumental in the evolution of Blue Sky Recruitment, steering the company from its days as ‘The Training Recruitment Company' through two rebrands to the company it is today. The brand values are a true reflection of a life working in recruitment, understanding people, the process, and the ingredients necessary for success.
Michael spends his time based in Wanaka, moving through the country from Wellington to Auckland each week to support the team. You can find Michael taking a work call on the chairlift at Treble Cone or a meeting in the café. He artfully manages the work-life equation. Michael moved from Australia to the deep south eight years ago with his wife and three boys.
