I have served in law enforcement for 21 years. I served as a Deputy Sheriff of St. Landry Parish for 12 years. In Simmesport, I was a Patrol Officer for 1 years. Later I became a Patrol Officer in Palmetto for 3 1/2 years. I am the current Chief of Police for the town of Melville.
