The Walker family started Love at First Bite in 1992 and soon began traveling across the country attending food festivals, such as Bite of Seattle, Taste of Tacoma, Jimmy Buffet's concert in Buckeye Lake, Ohio, the Ben & Jerry's Festival in Vermont, and Fur & Wildlife Festival in Cameron, LA. In 2001, we began selling the Cochon de Lait Poboy at Jazz Fest in New Orleans. 11 months prior to Hurricane Katrina hitting New Orleans, Walker's Southern Style BBQ opened in eastern New Orleans. Rebuilding with the rest of the New Orleans and Gulf Coast region, Walker's soon re-opened... Enjoy BBQ in New Orleans at Walker's BBQ.
