Roderic Stovall

Roderic Stovall is a native of Athens, GA. His family relocated to Pensacola, FL when he was a teenager and he graduated from Pensacola High School. After graduating, he enrolled in the Corrections Academy and served as a Correctional Officer and Instructor for the Florida Department of Corrections for 19 years. During his service he attended the University of West Florida and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts. Roderic currently serves as Staff Development Training Consultant/Corrections Academy Coordinator. Roderic has successfully encouraged, inspired, and graduated hundreds of students from the Corrections Academy during his tenure. Roderic has been married for more than 20 years and is proud father of three outstanding young men. Roderic believes that being a dad to his three boys has challenged him to stand tall and become the man that he is today. Wanting his sons to become more than he, Roderic learned the value of investing in others. He loves his time with his family and insists that strong families build strong communities. Roderic is a full-time minister and credits all of his success to his faith in God. He believes that encouragement is strength transfusion. Roderic loves to spend his leisure time exercising, baking desserts and reading. Roderic's driving force is understanding the vital principle that a better life starts within.
