Benjamin Nguyen

Benjamin Nguyen is a native of the DFW area and after receiving his Bachelor's degree in Commercial Communications and Public Affairs from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, he attended the University of Massachusetts School of Law but earned his Juris Doctorate in 2017 from the Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island. Ben has extensive trial experience, having competed in mock trial since high school, where he placed at nationals, throughout undergrad and law school. His successful results in trial is a testament to his capabilities as a young attorney and consistently continues to make waves in the legal industry due to thorough preparation and aggressive advocacy. Ben has had a diverse set of experiences having worked in multiple legal fields, including energy regulation, complex commercial litigation, intellectual property, commercial and consumer collections, immigration, criminal defense, and alternative dispute resolution. Having worked extensively in corporate settings, Ben determined that his unique set of skills, experience, and knowledge would be better suited for a more personable approach to client relations, focusing on effective communication and personable client relations.

Daniel Morales

Dan Morales is *Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a distinction held by fewer than 2% of Texas attorneys, and at R.E. López & Morales, Dan serves as the firm's Litigation Partner. Daniel Morales is a native of the DFW area, and was born and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas. After receiving his Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice in just 3 years from the University of Texas at Arlington, Dan earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans. Dan earned his Master of Laws, LLM from the University of Connecticut. Service to his community and to those in need have been the touchstones of Dan's legal career. After representing the interests of injured clients at a large Dallas law firm for several years, he came to R.E. López & Morales to join a practice more suitable to his desire to offer a truly personalized level of service to his clients. His practice is dedicated to a client first approach that consistently generates favorable results. Dan knows that effective negotiations in the personal injury field require aggressiveness and tenacity, and his record of trial successes is a testament to his attention to detail and commitment to preparation.

Kory Kingery

Kory Kingery was born and raised in Blue Ridge, Texas, and earned his Bachelor's degree in Literary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2011. Kory went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas in 2014, and has represented Plaintiffs exclusively since becoming licensed to practice. Kory believes that the practice of law necessarily involves being active in his community, and being at the forefront defending the rights of the disenfranchised is the central focus of his professional career. His involvement in the American Civil Liberties Union working on issues ranging from voting rights to freedom of speech is illustrative of his commitment to justice and his belief in the legal system's ability to improve society. His work at R.E. López & Morales allows him to put those beliefs into action by consistently achieving positive results for his clients. Kory is married to his college sweetheart, Haila, and the two enjoy spending time with their Chihuahuas and annually attending the Indianapolis 500.

Magdalena Avila

Magdalena Avila was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from The University Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. While she was at UTEP she also worked and was trained as a Paralegal for a Personal Injury attorney in the El Paso area. That is when her love and passion for law began. After obtaining her Bachelor's Degree she had the opportunity to work for a defense litigation firm. This gave her insight as to how both sides of a case work. After two years of working in defense litigation, she decided it was time to go to law school. In August of 2000, Magdalena obtained her J.D. Degree from Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. She became licensed to practice law In May of 2001. Since then she has dedicated her career to helping those who have been injured. She has been fighting insurance companies to get what her clients deserve for 18 years. As a Personal Injury Attorney, she has collected millions of dollars in settlements for her clients. She has successfully litigated many cases and obtained favorable jury verdicts in her favor. She has litigated wrongful death cases and has handled many cases involving catastrophic injuries as well. No case is too small or too big for her. She has the experience necessary to take a case all the way. She is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts - Southern and Northern Districts of Texas. She has been a part of legal teams in cases involving governmental entities. She has been to Washington D.C. many times to meet with Congressmen regarding pending legislation that she knows may impact her clients. She has litigated cases throughout the state of Texas. She has the compassion and determination to ensure that her clients get justice and be compensated fairly for their losses. Magdalena is a mother of two children who are now in High School. She dedicates her time to her children and to her work. She is fluent in Spanish and takes the time to know each of her clients. She works hard to obtain the maximum recovery possible for every client.

R. Eric López

R. Eric López was born and raised in South Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science, with a specialization in Biology, from the University of Michigan in 2000. Eric earned his Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan University. He has been married to his college sweetheart, Megan, for 15 years, and they have three beautiful children; Eric Jr., Jillian , and Julie. Eric loves the beach, fishing, and the outdoors. He is blessed to be a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mr. López worked for many years for large conglomerate personal injury firms in the Dallas area, and saw how the clients were sometimes lost in the shuffle; this inspired him to open his own firm. R.E. López & Morales, P.C. was founded in 2012 and has since helped thousands of people through the trauma from auto accidents. Mr. López prides himself on the personal attention clients receive.
