The Omega Cyberspace Corporation was founded in 2005, after which it released the Echyon operating system. Not long after, the company shifted its focus more and more to scientific research, but kept the ‘Cyberspace' in its name as a reminder of its roots... The Omega Cyberspace Corporation is run by the Corporate Council. Seated in the Council are the CEO, CFO, CSO, COO, CiC, CFA, and the heads of each OCC facility. Next to this, each Division has its own board to tune the operations on a more detailed level... The Omega Cyberspace Corporation, its divisions, and its technologies are part of a fictional universe.
