Following the approval of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) for PAVIS to provide a payment service, all payments ordered from PAVIS Payments are made in accordance with the extensive requirements of the European Payment Service Directive II, PSD II 2015/2366, for the regulation of payment services and payment service providers in the European single market. This directive resulted in the amendment of the Payment Services Supervision Act (Zahlungsdiensteaufsichtsgesetz, ZAG) in Germany and came into force on 13 January 2018. PAVIS Payments ensures that all payments are handled at all times compliant with statutory requirements and in accordance with the highest security standards... PAVIS Payments GmbH was established in 2018 as a subsidiary of PAVIS GmbH to provide compliant payment services for PAVIS GmbH clients... Of course, PAVIS Payments also offers its compliant payment service to clients of other IP service providers.
