Prof. Dr. Gabriel P. Krestin

Since 1998, he is a permanent Visiting Professor at Stanford University Medical School. He is also the Scientific Director of EIBIR (European Institute for Biomedical Research). Prof. Krestin is a member of numerous national (DRG, SGR-SSR, DEGUM, NVvR) and international (ESR, RSNA, ISMRM, ESMRMB, ESUR, SUR, ISSSR, ESGAR, AURE) societies, he was President of the European Society of Radiology (2012-2013), and serves on the editorial board of several international journals (European Radiology, Abdominal Imaging, Investigative Radiology, MagMa, Der Radiologe, Contrast Media and Molecular Imaging) He is author of over 200 original articles, over 60 book chapters, and editor of 7 books some of which have been translated into several languages. His main area of research is molecular imaging.

Based in Amsterdam, she is specialized in DIPG research. Sophie is the SIOPE DIPG Registry Research Project Manager. She is member of the SIOPE DIPG Network and the overseas colleagues affiliated with the International DIPG Registry and the DIPG collaborative. Her research interest is focused on the studies resulting from the Registries, with special interest in DIPG imaging (such as molecular drug imaging by means of PET), alternative drug delivery strategies (such as Convection-Enhanced Delivery and Ultrasound-mediated Drug Delivery) and Quality of Life/Palliative Care.
