Mr. John Wheeler is an Adult Health Nurse Practitioner and a graduate of the University of South Florida. He is nationally Board Certified in Adult Health. He received his undergraduate degree in nursing from St. Petersburg College, and has also received an undergraduate BA in business from Eckerd College.
Mr. Wheeler's undergraduate and graduate research was done on the study of testosterone.
Mr. Wheeler, who prefers to be called John, has been teaching interns for the last 18 years. He has taught interns for the University of South Florida, the University of Tampa, Samford University, and South University. Interns are a common presence in the clinic.
He is the owner and founder of PrimaCare Health, LLC, which he opened in 2017. He also founded PrimaCare Health Centers, Inc. in 2007, and PrimaCare Injury Center, Inc. in 2012. He has been active in the Tampa Bay area for over 25 years.
He is married, with two sons and one grandchild. He proudly served in the U. S. Air Force, and serves Christ the King Presbyterian Church of Seminole, as an Elder.

Tracy is the office manager for PrimaCare and has worked with Mr. Wheeler for over 20 years. Without her, there would not be a PrimaCare. She is an experienced office manager, medical assistant, and radiology technician. She graduated from Marion General Hospital School of Radiology.
