SIMS MIDDLE SCHOOL - Key Persons
Mrs. Donalson is a Pace High School graduate. She taught middle school language arts and social studies for one year in Wakulla County before moving to Tampa to teach high school English and dropout prevention classes at East Bay High School. She spent 7 years at Navarre High School teaching English and served one year as Dean of Students before moving to Assistant Principal at Avalon Middle School. She served as AP there for 5 years before becoming the principal here at Sims Middle School.
Mr. Stokes is the product of Santa Rosa County education. He spent almost fifteen years in Santa Rosa County teaching middle and high school math and science. He had no desire to go into education until he married his wife, Cynthia Stokes, who teaches ESE in Santa Rosa County. Mr. Stokes now serves as Assistant Principal to Sims Middle School.
