System 3 was founded in July 2017, with the mission of providing consulting, model development and project management services to organizations to help them achieve success with machine learning and data science... Our Managing Partner is Matthew Kuckuk, who has 30 years of experience leading teams of data scientists, consultants and system architects in large enterprises as well as startups. Matt started in the data science field at Fair, Isaac Company (FICO) after his Master's in operations research from UC Berkeley and Bachelors from UW Madison. He has held executive roles in data science, big data and business intelligence with CGI, Actuate (Opentext), and Nomis Solutions. There he and his teams developed and implemented innovative models in such diverse applications as cybersecurity, benefits fraud, tax audit and collections, price optimization, healthcare..
