Katie Conovitz is the CEO and founder of twelveNYC. Raised in the Midwest, Katie came to New York City to launch her career in the Bloomingdale's buying office. After gaining experience in the fashion, retail and promotional industries, her life-long fierce independence and love of telling new stories pushed her to forge her own path. So, in 2005, Katie founded twelveNYC at age 28, with just $1800 and a big dream.
Pushing past the conventional promotional product agency formula, twelveNYC grew from one employee to 85, one office to three, spread over just as many continents. Through hard work and an unwavering determination, Katie has grown the 100% women-owned company into a multi-million-dollar business.
Despite its scale, the curiosity, passion for partnership, and inherently creative approach that ultimately sparked the founding of twelveNYC still persists over 16 years later. "I'm fueled by challenges, collaboration, and the idea of endless possibilities," Katie says. "twelveNYC was born of that fire and it's still at our core."
Katie lives in Brooklyn with her husband, Brandon (twelveNYC's Global COO), and their four kids. Twelve is Katie's lucky number and NYC will always have her heart.
