ASHLEY CRICKET CLUB

Ashley Cricket Club is a long established village cricket club of 134 years. The cricket club was founded in 1888 and is situated in the picturesque village of Ashley. It is a short distance from the neighbouring villages of Hale, Mobberly and Rostherne and just three miles from Altrincham... We have invested heavily in the club and the playing surface in recent years thanks to the hard work of our fundraising efforts and the terrific support from many grant givers and donors including ECB, Sport England, Local Network Fund, Cheshire East, Biffaward, Lord's Taverners, Awards for All, Manchester Airport Community Fund, Cheshire Rural Trust and MBNA... We have a 3 lane artificial practice net, new flooring in the home and away dressing rooms, 4 new sightscreens, mobile covers, 3 new grass pitches, new drainage, a brick scorebox and several coaching initiatives that have seen 60 of our junior players receive free coaching at the Lancashire Indoor School.
