Dean Stacey

Dean took his first position in the fishing industry at Lusitania Fishing processing facility in 1998 as factory manager. In 2002, he accepted a position as manager SCRL, Cold Store and Quayside at Premier Fishing, eventually in the role of Group Logistics manager (SCRL, WCRL, Squid, Hake, Abalone and Cold Store) and Managing Director of Premier Fresh. Dean joined Fish On Line as a director and shareholder in 2008, taking responsibility for the procurement and sales. When Lonrho bought a 51% share in Fish On Line in 2011, Dean stayed on as director and shareholder, becoming the MD by the time he left in 2015 to join Breco Seafoods as the business development director. As the current Sales & Procurement Director, he is a dedicated and well-connected industry specialist.

Ferdi Oosthuizen - CFO

Ferdi is a registered CA(SA) and holds an MBA from the UCT Graduate School of Business. After completing his articles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, he joined Media24 where he grew to hold senior positions such as acting CFO of the Media24 Magazines Division. In 2017, he accepted a position at Atlantis Foods as Head of Finance and was promoted to Financial Director at the end of 2017 upon completion of the merger with Breco Seafoods.

Luis Figueiredo - Chairman

Luis has been operating in the seafood industry for over 31 years. His family's fishing history began with the operation of five fishing vessels in Angola in the 1960s. In 2003, Luis and his brother Sergio's entrepreneurial skills and vast experience in the processing and production of seafood led them to start Supapackers, now known as Atlantis Foods Holdings. Today, as the Chairman of Atlantis Foods, Luis remains committed and passionate, not only about the business, but also about the industry in which it operates.

Neil Pascall - Managing Director

Neil's career started at Federal Marine as the Management Accountant. In 1996, he took a position as Financial Manager at Breco Seafoods, at that point a privately owned and unknown seafood trading business. In 1999, Neil became a shareholder and in 2001 he was a key player in a management buyout. Over the years, he has been involved in numerous aspects of the business, including financial, logistics, and sales and procurement. After Breco Seafoods was sold to Atlantis Holdings in 2017, Neil was convinced to stay on during the handover process. He decided to buy a share of the business in early 2020 and became part of the exco team.

Robert Zive

Robert Zive joins Atlantis Foods as a director after having spent 26 years in the fishing industry. He has spent last seven years as the managing director of Snoek Wholesalers. Robert kicked off his career at Snoek Wholesalers in 1996 after earning his Bachelor of Business Science at UCT. In 2002 he started Blue Atlantic Trading as a subsidiary of Snoek Wholesalers where he initially served as the Sales Director, eventually rising to the position of Managing Director. In 2017, Blue Atlantic Trading merged with Snoek Wholesalers and Robert was appointed Managing Director. As a people-oriented leader, Robert values his long-standing relationships in the industry and stresses values such as integrity, transparency and resilience as most central to his ethics in business. Robert has taken part in several endurance events such as Comrades and Iron man, and describes these events as mental, rather than physical, challenges.
