Recreationally I played golf and, after a relatively late start, cricket. When I realized I was not going to be a ‘star' performer at cricket I found that I was quite good at coaching others. I've developed this further, working at the Essex Indoor Cricket Centre, volunteering with local cricket clubs and working through the ECB /UK Sport coaching certificates eventually gaining the Level 3 Performance Coach award... I am a level 3 cricket coach (ECB Performance Coach) with experience delivering coaching in numerous and varying environments and standards: both group and individual lessons...
