Dustin was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta. During his high school years, football was his passion. The highlight of his high school years was winning a National Championship as a member of Team Alberta and being named Defensive MVP of the tournament. Dustin then played four years of football for the Okanagan Sun in British Columbia earning two Conference All-star awards. Dustin then turned his attention to education and began a Business degree in his hometown of Lethbridge. His business degree had a requisite Business Law course. It was all history from there as Dustin knew that he had found his calling. Dustin attended law school at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Since being called to the bar as a member of the Law Society of Alberta Dustin has zealously advocated for his clients at all levels of court in Alberta. Dustin has extensive civil litigation experience, as well as a background in family and divorce law. Dustin makes the move to join Spectrum Family Law to be closer to family, with his Sister, Brother-in-law, and only two nieces residing in Edmonton. Dustin has been caught off guard by how much he enjoys being an Uncle and he is looking forward to being closer to his nieces. When not advocating for his clients, Dustin enjoys Squash, futsal or indoor soccer, disc golf, the NFL, and fine dining.
