WEAVER PARKWAY

As the Friends of Weaver Parkway, we aim to promote and preserve the Parkway, making it available for everyone to enjoy... We aim to preserve the Parkway, by carrying out maintenance work such as tree thinning, or coppicing, (cutting back the tree trunk almost to ground level, to encourage new shoots to grow), weed control, hedge laying or just simply picking up litter. In short, to keep the Parkway a well managed, safe environment, yet at the same time, preserve all species of plants and wildlife... We also create new habitats and to increase our species count this year, we will be making bat and bird boxes for next spring.
