Formed in 1986 by Vaughan Rhodes, Bulldog Sports began as a sports retail outlet in Leeds providing Rugby equipment and clothing to individuals and clubs. Been sole distributer in the market, Bulldog Sports quickly became a well-established name in the industry as the go to company if you require anything to do with sports. Bulldog Sports was at the forefront of production and retail of sports equipment clients such JJB and JD sports providing sports merchandise. Been at the top in the industry opened many doors and opportunities for the company... Bulldog Sports was formed in 1986 by Vaughan & Christine Rhodes together with Vaughan's Parents Margaret & Gerry Rhodes. The Production unit had been based in West Leeds for 20 years, but Rapid Expansion and the need for experienced production staff, resulted in our move to a new purpose built 5000 sq factory in Dewsbury, which provides jobs for 15 people.
