Claire Le Feuvre

I have a professional background in international development with proven skills in leadership, team development, strategic planning, programme development, project management and fund sourcing. In addition I have key experience in running volunteer programmes, working with partner organisations and capacity building. Using this experience, good diplomatic and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve their strategic goals, I have contributed to Heritage Lottery Funded projects, strategic planning projects, community engagement and led as project manager. Specifically I have assisted clients with project management duties, activity and business planning, consultant and contractor coordination and working with networks of partner organisations, institutions and building relationships with stakeholders.

David Allen

  • Management Adviser / Landscape Architect
I have many years experience leading a wide range of design and planning projects including landscape master planning, urban design, detailed design, expert witness, environmental strategies and contract implementation. Prior to establishing Allen Scott I was a Director of EDAW now AECOM, the international and multi-disciplinary practice, where I led and project managed a number of urban regeneration and housing schemes, leisure and tourism projects, environmental and infrastructure projects in the UK and overseas. Now my focus is on providing peer overview and technical support on all Allen Scott's current projects to help achieve our aim of becoming one of the profession's leaders in delivering outstanding design quality, thoughtful approaches and dynamic places for our clients and users alike.

James Penney

I enjoy working on a whole range of landscape design and planning projects including parks and historic restoration, residential and mixed use developments, business parks and education projects. Since joining the practice nearly 10 years ago I have gone from a contributor to a leader across a number of notable projects. I have built a strong foundation of expertise especially in high quality soft and hard works and contract delivery, working proactively with all my clients to make every project a success. I was delighted to have been nominated and to have won a commendation for the Landscape Institute's Young Professional of the Year in 2018.

Marc Tomes

I am a chartered landscape architect, urban designer and a community planner with 20 years of international experience in both public and private sectors. My aim is to create better outcomes for people, places and for nature through meaningful, collaborative and creative planning and design processes.

Matthew Scott

Job Titles:
  • Senior Consultant
I have years of experience in a wide range of design and planning projects both at home and overseas, including site implementation, hard and soft detailed design, master-planning, historical restoration and urban design. Some of my notable leading designer roles include refurbishment and extension of many London schools and the Art @ The Centre project for Slough High Street and town centre which led to a string of other urban regeneration schemes. I am approachable, pragmatic and considered and I tend to work on one-off and individual projects that require a close client liaison, a sensitive approach, design solidity and deliverability.
