Our 11-strong board of trustees work voluntarily to make sure we're doing all we can to reach and help the voices of ordinary people to be heard and respected. ELF is both a charity and a limited company and all trustees are also directors... ELF works with a growing number of university law schools to provide environmental law clinics and encourage budding environmental lawyers... We provide legal assistance to some of the most disadvantaged communities in the country to the value of as much as £1 million a year, on a budget of less than £35,000.
