My name is Alberto. Formed as an engineer in Italy and later as an architect in The Netherlands, I learned to pursue research through curiosity and experimentation. Passionate of lightweight structural systems, I love to challenge boundaries between arts, computer technology and manufacturing, committed in changing the world through accessible technology. I trained myself as a software engineer and manufacturing expert, mastering 3D printing technology, software architecture, CNC machining and manufacturing... I have coltivated along with my studies and work experiences many interestes and passions. Among those, the project I have been mostly focused have been the one about lightweight system, and in particular tensegrity. By the time my life changed carrier's path, I realized I would like to further extend of my research agenda, beyond the initial scope.
