AS-Photonics is an independent small company providing technical consulting services and modeling software in the areas of crystal nonlinear optics, fiber lasers, and thermal issues. Our mission is realistic, quantitative, numerical modeling of these and other optical devices... AS-Photonics is owned by Dr. Arlee V. Smith, who has more than 40 years of experience in lasers and nonlinear optics, and by Jesse Smith, who has 12 years of experience developing modeling software. AS-Photonics was founded in 2008, and has completed major consulting projects for over 50 clients in academia, small companies, the aerospace industry, and government laboratories.
