Sara Jones has worked with fast growing technology companies, such as eBay, Domo, EMC, AOL, Omniture (now Adobe), and Finisar, on innovation strategies. She consults C-level teams on strategic growth, business development and talent strategies and has coached hundreds of professionals on strategic career practices. She was CEO of ApplicantPro, an HR SaaS company providing talent recruiting tools to over 3000 clients. She led national partner and company product roll-outs at School Improvement Network, where she gained deep knowledge on research-based professional development. She worked closely with the Counsel of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) and other national education associations, and currently is a member of Utah's Core Team for the National Governors Association (NGA) 2016 Policy Academy on Scaling Work-Based Learning. Sara started her career as a patent attorney, practicing for almost a decade, where became a shareholder and taught advanced patent law at Brigham Young University Law School. She is founder of Women Tech Council, Utah's most visible trade association with a reach of over 10,000 women and men nationwide. She is a board member of Women's Leadership Institute. Sara graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University law school and holds a B.S. in chemical engineering, with honors, from the University of Utah.
