Growing up in a military family, Dr. Ryan Martz has lived all over the world. He was born in San Diego but considers Hawaii to be his home. Excited to live and practice in Las Vegas, affectionately known as Hawaii's "ninth island," Dr. Martz feels honored to provide dental care for the local community.
As a young teenager, Dr. Martz fell on his face and chipped his tooth. This damaged his self-confidence and eventually, he was able to get his tooth fixed by a dentist. Once he saw and understood a dentist's ability to restore confidence, he found his calling to become a dentist and improve the lives of others. Dr. Martz focuses on helping people improve their self-image through their smile.
Dr. Martz would like his patients to know that he understands dental anxiety and makes every effort to explain expectations clearly so that patients can get a clear picture of treatment. Dr. Martz is trained to safely administer several options for anesthesia and makes sure that every patient is comfortable before, during, and after treatment.
Education
Dr. Martz graduated with his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University-Hawaii in political science. He earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine.
