Formerly known as the Indian Lake Golf Club, The Peninsula Golf Club was the very first golf course designed by Arnold Palmer. The original nine-holes was first opened in 1967 and the Club formed a Private Member owned Facility that went on to become one of the premier Private Clubs in the area. After a few management changes and turning from semi-private to public the Indian Lake Borough decided to purchase the Facility and partnered with Northwinds Golf Club to operate, maintain, and restore the course to its former beauty. Forming the Northwinds Peninsula Golf Club the new owners and operators are truly committed to maintaining the rich history and tradition of this wonderful public 18-Hole Championship Facility.
