Annie Liao

Annie completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and the high acuity specialty at BCIT. She worked as a registered nurse for six years at Vancouver General Hospital in general and vascular surgery, gastrointestinal medicine, and ear-nose-throat surgery. She completed her Masters of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner degree at the University of British Columbia in 2019. She enjoys working in primary care and has had exposure to family practice, residential care, adolescent health, and vulnerable populations in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. She has special interests in women's health and health promotion. Outside of work, she enjoys jogging, hiking, and travelling with her husband and family.

Chelsea Bruce

Chelsea completed her nursing degree and critical care specialty at BCIT. She spent nine years working as an RN in nephrology and critical care. She completed her Master of Nursing in Nurse Practitioner through Athabasca University in 2017 and worked with kidney transplant recipients before venturing into primary care. She has a special interest in women's health and adult care. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking in the summer, and snowshoeing and snowboarding in the winter.

Dr. Chung-Lin (Johnny) Lee

Dr. Johnny Lee was born in Taipei, Taiwan and immigrated to Canada at age 14. He graduated from UBC with a BSc Honours, a BEd, and an MD degree in 2013. He completed his Family Medicine residency at UBC in 2015. He is a busy family doctor who also works as a maternity physician and emergency physician at Langley Memorial Hospital. He currently holds a faculty position as Clinical Instructor with UBC. Outside of work, he enjoys running, snowboarding and various outdoor activities with his family.

Dr. Gina Zheng

Dr. Gina Zheng completed her medical degree and residency at the University of British Columbia and has been working as a full scope family physician since 2015. She also has a special interest in elderly care and practices in a longterm care facility. She holds a Clinical Faculty Appointment from UBC as a clinical instructor and teaches medical students in her office. Outside of work, she embraces the Exercise is Medicine principles that she promotes to her patients, and is often found hiking and running outdoors.

Dr. Kennedy Engbers

Dr. Kennedy Engbers completed her medical degree at McMaster University in 2013 and completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of British Columbia in 2015. She enjoys full scope family medicine, and has experience working as a family doctor in general office practice, hospital care, residential care, and inner city care for vulnerable populations. When not in the office, she can usually be found hiking and exploring the outdoors with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Pei-Ying (Christine) Lee

Dr. Christine Lee completed her medical degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and residency at the Memorial University of Newfoundland and has been working as a full scope family physician since 2013. She currently holds a faculty position as Clinical Instructor with UBC. In addition to family medicine, she is interested in women's health and pediatrics. Outside of work, she enjoys playing the piano, travelling, and spending time with her husband and two children.
