Proactive Engineering Consultants (PROACTIVE) is a Southern California-based Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Consulting firm. We specialize in serving the land development community and governmental agencies throughout Southern California. PROACTIVE was co-founded by principal Tom Braun who has operated in Southern California for more than 30 years. After working for both large and small multi-discipline consulting firms, Tom found that he and most talented engineers were too far away from the hands-on work they loved. They had become more of "paper pushers" and damage control experts called in when problems surfaced. His realization of this unfortunate reality and his strong desire to provide top-notch service to his clients prompted the firm's founding.
