Many people think that kids like me, with Autism, don't think, or don't think we are capable of learning - that's not it. We just do it differently - we like to observe, take our time to process what we are seeing, we like to move - helps us to process, sitting is just not what we prefer even though classrooms are designed for students to sit and teachers are trained that they have to make us sit... Hi, I'm Sean Russell, and I'm 16 years old. I have always lived in Miami, Florida, and since I was really little - I was different (aren't we all?). I am on the Autism Spectrum (whatever that means these days since it is a pretty broad spectrum) and for me it means that I learn.
