Andrew Perriam

Andrew is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He has been a partner since 1995, having joined Rothmans in 1991 from a national firm. Andrew has broad experience, covering a wide range of corporate clients from large listed companies to SMEs. He provides advice and assistance in many areas including accounts, taxation, general business guidance, business strategy and succession planning. Andrew lives with his family in the New Forest. He is a cricket fan and enjoys the occasional game of golf.

Habib Brora

Habib commenced employment with Rothmans in 2000 and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2004. After qualifying he gained an in-depth knowledge of tax which helps him give clients quality all round advice. Habib has built up a portfolio of personal, business, charity and trust clients. He was appointed Director in 2009 and Partner in April 2011. Habib concentrates on the owner, helping them make the most out of their wealth and assets - ‘I take pride in giving the all-round advice the "ordinary" business owners need and deserve - I enjoy dealing with people and solving their problems'.

Hannah Batchelor

Hannah joined the Winchester office of Rothmans as accounts manager in 2017 and was appointed to Director in April 2021. Previously, Hannah trained and worked with a large Southampton firm, focusing on audits, before joining a large firm in Poole as an outsourcing assistant manager in 2016, particularly in the areas of statutory and management accounts. She specialises in working with owner-managed businesses within a wide range of sectors, managing accounts preparation, including tax and vat returns, payroll, support with tax planning and compliance. She also advises on personal tax matters. She is a Xero-certified advisor, with expertise in other cloud-based software preferred by clients. Hannah has a passion for technology and cloud based accounting software. Jonathan Poulter

Jonathan, who grew up in Winchester, joined Rothmans in 2009, having previously worked for a top 5 accountancy firm in London and Southampton. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales whilst working in audit before moving to corporation tax to pursue a keen interest in taxation. He joined the Winchester office of Rothmans as a general practice Manager with a tax focus, and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) with the Chartered Institute of Taxation. In 2012 he was appointed Director within the firm, being promoted to Partner in April 2016. Jonathan has a broad scope of experience dealing with a wide range of taxation and accounting matters. His portfolio consists of groups of companies, individual companies and businesses, LLPs, CICs, charities, partnerships, sole traders and personal tax individual client work. Jonathan deals with a wide range of clients/sectors and enjoys providing a relationship-driven service to clients, with tax planning always in mind. His specialisms include start-up businesses, incorporating an existing business, corporation tax planning and R&D tax relief claims. Jonathan also assists clients with monthly and quarterly management accounts and reporting, together with cash flow and P&L forecasting. Jonathan also advises individuals on personal tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax planning. Together with his client portfolio, Jonathan has prepared valuations for incorporations and EMI share scheme matters; has dealt with HMRC enquiry/Worldwide Disclosure Facility matters for clients across various taxes; acts as Trustee in relation to Will Trust matters; has prepared and assisted clients with Research & Development (R&D) claims, including HMRC's Advance Assurance Facility; has assisted clients with tax-efficient corporate structuring of investments such as EIS, SEIS (again under the HMRC Advance Assurance Facility); and tax-efficient share schemes such as EMI. Recently, Jonathan has been helping businesses get ready for Making Tax Digital coming in from 1 April 2019. Kevin Richards

Kevin joined the Chandlers Ford office of Rothmans in 2012 and was appointed as a Director in October 2016. He trained at a large accountancy practice in Southampton, where he qualified as a Certified Chartered Accountant in 2000. In 2002, Kevin took a year-long career break to travel with his wife, experiencing different cultures and spending time working in Australia for several months. On his return to the UK, he joined a large mid-tier accountancy firm, working his way up to becoming Senior Audit Manager, before joining Rothmans. As well as utilising his specialist auditing skills, Kevin has a particular interest in supporting owner-managed businesses. He provides accountancy, business advisory and taxation advice to a wide range of small to medium-sized businesses in a variety of different sectors, serving clients across the Southern region, London and further afield. Kevin is married with two children and lives in Southampton. In his spare time, he enjoys a number of keep-fit activities and travelling with his family.

Lisa Wilson

Lisa was appointed a Director in 2015, based at our Southampton office. Lisa joined Rothmans in 2006 after working for a number of years in two other Hampshire-based accountancy firms. She has many years' experience advising on all areas of general practice, as well as expertise in audit and specialist sectors such as not-for-profit and healthcare. Lisa has a keen interest in advising owner-managed and family businesses, helping them to grow and make the most of their assets, while realising their personal ambitions. She says, "Building long-standing relationships with clients is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. It allows me to look at the bigger picture and create practical solutions that suit their business needs as well as their personal goals. Mike Moreton

He deals with all personal tax matters, including capital gains tax advice, inheritance tax planning and advice in connection with residency and domicile issues and property taxation. His broad background and time at the Inland Revenue provides thorough expertise when advising clients in all areas of taxation, and he has over many years developed a specialism for dealing with enquiries of all shapes and sizes.
