ANCHORAGE HOA

Anchorage is located right next door to beautiful John Chesnut County Park, a 250 acre preserve on the shores of Lake Tarpon, the largest freshwater lake in Pinellas County. Many wild (and not-so-wild) animals, notably deer, wander back and forth between Anchorage and the Park. It's not unusual to occasionally find several deer napping in your front yard! We have a whole "flock" of feathered friends including Cardinals, tufted titmice, wrens (little bird with a loud voice!) red-shouldered hawks, osprey, barred owls, and several bald eagles . Of course, this IS Florida, and alligators also live next door. Most 'gators are shy, but in case you see a gator that didn't get the "shy" memo, 'gators are best observed with respect, and from a safe distance...
