Alexander joined Maugel DeStefano in June 2021 as an architectural designer supporting the multifamily and science markets. He is an experienced BIM Manager with advanced technical design and visualization skills. Alexander views design and the built form as a way of enriching the lives of those who encounter it. His focus on quality and innovation-coupled with his quest for the learning and sharing of knowledge-makes Alexander a valued member of Maugel DeStefano's design team.
Alexander holds a BFA in Architecture from the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts and is currently pursuing a Master of Architecture degree at the Boston Architectural College.

Bobby joined Maugel DeStefano as an architectural designer in October 2021 after completing undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. While enrolled at Wentworth, Bobby interned in the construction industry and held positions as an architectural drafter and designer.
Passionate about sustainable design and environmental and social accountability, Bobby is driven to make a positive impact on the environments he designs and the people and communities that experience them. To Bobby, responsive architecture is a vital tool that sculpts the future, and when done with care and collaboration, can make anything possible.

Brent has been a Registered Architect in Massachusetts since 1983 and has designed over 3 million square feet of commercial and residential space throughout the Greater Boston area. His service-oriented approach has been the foundation of his firm's success.
Brent Maugel is the founder and president of Maugel DeStefano Architects. He has over 30 years of innovative architectural design and project management experience. Prior to starting the firm in 1993, Brent worked for renowned architectural firms in Boston. His expertise includes the design of large-scale office and industrial parks, health care facilities, multifamily residences, and retail spaces.
Architect Brent Maugel founded the firm in 1993 as Maugel Architects. In 2018, we celebrated our 25th anniversary and set a course for sustained long-term growth by naming Daniel Barton, Jonathan Cocker, Mike Kunz, and Mark Pelletier as principals alongside Brent.
Chris joined Maugel DeStefano Architects full-time in June 2022 after receiving a Master of Architecture from Roger Williams University. We first met Chris when he interned for the firm while taking a high school architectural design class. Chris went on to receive a Bachelor of Architecture at Roger Williams and returned to Maugel DeStefano as an intern in June 2021 while pursuing his graduate degree. Over the past year, Chris has worked closely with senior designer staff and produced construction drawings for several commercial projects. His collaborative style, natural leadership abilities, and strong work ethic make Chris a valued member of the Maugel DeStefano design team.

Christine joined Maugel DeStefano in October 2021 as the controller and director of human resources. She brings to the firm 20 years of financial and human resource experience in the educational and technology markets. Self-proclaimed numbers geek with degrees in math and accounting from Emmanuel College, Christine has a successful track record of helping companies plan and manage rapid growth.
Christine is a natural coach who leads with compassion, collaboration, authenticity, and mutual respect. Whether she's working with a youth sports team to promote resiliency and teamwork, or an executive team to accelerate business growth, Christine empowers individuals and organizations to reach their full potential.
Cindi Giugliano Cascio is a 20-year practicing architect in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Cindi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College and a MArch degree from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Prior to joining the firm, Cindi played important roles at Finegold Alexander and Leers, Weinzapfel Associates. As a highly experienced architect, Cindi is responsible for the design and project management of the firm's health care, medical devices, and life sciences projects. She also champions the continued growth in sustainable architecture and the integration of BIM technologies.
Clay joined Maugel DeStefano's architectural design staff in June 2022 after receiving a Master of Architecture from Roger Williams University. Prior to joining the firm, Clay interned at an architectural design firm in Newport, Rhode Island. His project experience includes work in the residential, commercial, hospitality, and historical sectors. An avid hobbyist, Clay looks for opportunities where his hobbies and career can positively impact people's lives. Clay believes it is essential for architecture to consider both human and environmental health. Clay will be working with our team based in Portsmouth, NH.

Colby is a registered architect. She joined our technical staff in 2009 after earning a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the Wentworth Institute of Technology. She is currently working as a project manager within the Medical and Biomedical sectors with such clients as Lowell General Hospital, Sturdy Memorial Hospital, and Bruker Biospin.
Colby also holds a certificate from the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED Green Associate and plans to also become a LEED Accredited Professional.
Cora joined Maugel DeStefano's architectural design staff in June 2022 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Roger Williams University. Cora's academic studio projects include the redesign of the maritime museum in Bristol, Rhode Island; studies in efficiency living; and residential interior design. In her senior year, Cora was the recipient of the Senior Academic & Design Excellence Award. Her work was also featured at the university's Student Academic Showcase and Honors event. A skilled graphics designer, Cora will be working with Maugel DeStefano's team in Harvard, Mass., supporting projects in the multifamily sector.
Dan is a principal in the firm and a renowned consensus builder, public presenter, and permitting professional. He has over thirty years of architectural experience in master planning, feasibility studies, and complex design for such varied building types as transportation, medical and educational facilities, and churches. He has particular expertise in the renovation of historically significant structures and currently serves as the chairman of a local historic districts commission.
Dan holds a BArch from the Boston Architectural College.

Deborah began working with Maugel DeStefano's interior design team in the fall of 2018. She is a seasoned industry veteran with a broad range of interior design experience specializing in the commercial and hospitality sectors. Deborah's prior work experience was attained at some of the most prestigious architectural firms in the industry.
Denise joined Maugel DeStefano Architects in 2013 and is responsible for maintaining the financial records for the firm. For over 25 years, her passion for bookkeeping has been fueled by a desire to produce accurate and timely financial reports used in the strategic decision-making process. Denise holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Worcester State College.
For more than 25 years, Duncan has been creating beautiful, high-end custom homes. Prior to joining the firm in 2021, Duncan was part of a small boutique firm in Charlottesville, Virginia designing new construction, renovations, historic preservation, and estates for twenty years.
Duncan's journey to architecture is different than most. With undergraduate degrees in mathematics and education, his career included time in the insurance industry, education, and software engineering. It wasn't until later in his career that he discovered his true passion: architecture.
Duncan earned his Master of Architecture from the University of Virginia. Originally from Bangor, ME., Duncan recently moved back to New England to be closer to his family.
