Adele Kimber

Adele has lived with her family in Teddington for over 20 years and has been a governor of Teddington School and a trustee of Richmond West Schools Trust. She has a professional background in journalism and communications and also long experience as a trustee and director of a national children's disability charity.

Ben Lovell

Ben has been Vicar of St Mary's Hampton since June 2017. Before moving to Hampton he lived in Harrow where he was a youth worker and curate. He is married to Cara, who is currently training for ordination, and they have two children, Emily and Zoe, who keep them on their toes. Ben loves cooking, playing golf badly and reading.

Carole Swinburne

Having previously worked for the Department for Works and Pensions (DWP), Carole has a wide knowledge and experience of the state benefit and support systems. This underpins her role as Individual Grants Manager where she is in daily contact with individuals, families and support agencies in the area we serve. Carole also oversees many of the functions to facilitate the smooth running of the office. She has lived in Twickenham and the surrounding area since childhood.

David Meggitt

David spent most of his working life at PwC, where he was a management consultant and, latterly, the UK firm's Finance Director. He has lived in the borough since 1973 (in Hampton Hill since 1987) and is married to Carolyn. They have two sons and a daughter and three grand-daughters. Now retired, David is a trustee, and treasurer, of The Mulberry Centre. He enjoys hiking and photography (often together), writing and sport.

Dr Jim Brockbank

Jim has lived in Hampton Hill since 1989 when he became a partner at the Park Road Surgery Teddington. Additionally he has had lead roles in mental health and in palliative care in the locality. He retired in 2014. He has an interest in disability; and enjoys France, cycling and family life.

Dr Martin Duffy

Martin has lived in the area since 1985 and became a Trustee in July 2015. After completing a Doctorate in mathematics at Oxford University he began his career at Shell but subsequently moved into investment management, holding senior roles at Barings, GMO and Claremont, an award winning hedge fund manager that he founded. Martin currently serves as an investment advisor to an independent regional stockbroking firm, chairman of a small behavioural economics consultancy and as a Trustee of several other local charities.

Geraldine Locke

Geraldine has lived in Teddington for 30 years. She was a local Councillor for the Hampton Wick ward from 2015 to 2018. She has a passion for learning and education, and has been a governor at Collis School for over twenty years, half spent as Chair. She is now a Member for the Richmond West Schools Trust. Professionally she has worked in the adult learning and development sector throughout most of her career. Originally Geraldine trained in Hotel and Catering Management, and loves to cook and entertain. She is married to Phil, and has two grown up children who keep her feet on the ground.

Kim Loxton

Kim has lived in Hampton since 1980 and is the nominee of All Saints Church, Hampton, where she is an active member. She has worked with children and young people with special needs over many years. Her interests include gardening, Tai Chi, singing with Rock Choir, and she is a member of Harlequins Rugby Club. She is married to David, has two 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.

Laurence Sewell

Laurence has lived in the borough since 1978 and is the nominee of St James's Parish Church, where he chairs the finance team. He has had a long career working in international development as a consultant with aid agencies and international financial institutions specialising in project management, evaluating impacts of grants and investments, and supporting organisational change for governance reform. Extensive experience in funding mechanisms supporting Non-Governmental Organisations addressing poverty alleviation in the Global South. In recent years, he has been bringing this international expertise to trustee roles with national and local organisations and charities.

Martin Seymour - Chairman

Happily married to Christine since ‘86 and proud father to Anthony since ‘96, Martin's first role was as a night club manager for EMI. Then he came to his senses and enjoyed two decades in computing, over half as Head of IT for multinational companies, winning international prizes for his work. Actively involved in the Borough since 1990, Martin has held various positions including: Mayor of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames; Cabinet Member for Planning and Strategic Development and Borough Tenants' Champion.

Richard Baker

Richard has lived in the borough since 1976 and in Teddington for much of that time. He was previously a local Councillor for Teddington and also Richmond Borough's Business Spokesperson. He worked for nearly 40 years in the City as a Corporate Banker primarily with the Barclays Group and latterly with other European banks. He is married with two sons.

Richard Barron - CEO

Richard has worked in the charity sector for over twenty-five years, where he has had responsibilities for fundraising, marketing and communications, impact evaluation and research. Most recently he worked for Buttle UK, a national grant maker to individuals. He lives with his family in Hampton, and has been a resident in the local area for nearly fifteen years.

Samantha Bailey

Samantha has lived in Hampton since 2010 and is the nominated representative of St Mary's Church. Having moved to the area after spending 4 years in Texas, Samantha and her husband Tim are fully involved in the active life of the Church, including serving on the PCC. Their children attended Hampton Academy during the transition to Hampton High, with Samantha serving on the PTA for a number of years during that time. Samantha has also volunteered with a local Youth Club for 11 years. Samantha works locally in Surbiton, and enjoys running a book club, walks in the local parks, gardening, and the proximity of London for days out and theatre trips when she can.

Sharika Sharma

Born in New Delhi, India, Sharika moved to the UK at the age of 11. After graduating she taught primary and secondary children in two schools in Malawi. On her return to the UK she sought a career in publishing before moving into financial services. Having held positions at Citi Private Bank and Legal & General Investment Management she currently works at CCLA, an investment management company that specialises in the not-for-profit sector. She enjoys cycling through the local parks and along the river, which often involve a necessary pit stop for ice cream.

Sheila Pryde

Sheila has a background in training and development, most recently as an IT Lecturer at a local college and previously as IT Training and Support Manager for a number of technology companies in the UK and for the Govt of Western Australia Welfare Department. She works on projects and initiatives to develop the work of the Charity. Past voluntary work includes Sea Scout Leader and church Children's Group Leader.

Zenaid Richards

Zenaid has wide career experience in the not for profit sector working for grant making charities supporting health and youth development; as well as a background in health insurance and financial services . Zenaid manages the Community Grants Programme. She is Foundation School Governor at a Kingston Primary school and is a Friend of Bushy & Home Park. She also volunteers at West Horsely Place and is member of several local arts/history societies.
