Dr. Adam Pruitt

Dr. Adam Pruitt received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University in 2020 after completing an APA-accredited internship at the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. During his internship, Dr. Pruitt provided neuropsychological assessment services for veterans in various stages of admission throughout the medical center. Dr. Pruitt has experience conducting assessments in a variety of settings including psychiatric inpatient, forensic, residential, and community outpatient settings. His clinical interests include acquired brain injuries, dementia, and comorbid psychiatric and neurological disorders. In his free time, Dr. Pruitt enjoys kayaking, fishing, exercising, and playing guitar.

Dr. Arina Polevoy

Dr. Arina Polevoy received her Doctorate from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Neuropsychology. She completed her internship at the Illinois Psychological Association Predoctoral Internship Consortium (IPAPIC). During her internship, Dr. Polevoy provided extensive neuropsychological evaluations to children with a variety of presentations including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disorders, conditions related to low birth weight, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Additionally, she has experience with adults suffering from Substance Use Disorders, HIV/AIDS, Epilepsy, Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), dementia, and a variety of other psychiatric conditions. She has also conducted numerous disability evaluations in cooperation with the Department of Rehabilitation Services. Following her internship completion, Dr. Polevoy completed a dual, post-doctoral, two-year fellowship program at both Thomson Memory & Attention and Northwest Behavioral Health Services. At her fellowships, Dr. Polevoy gained a great deal of training in the assessment and treatment of children, adults, and geriatric patients. Dr. Polevoy has extensive experience assessing and diagnosing older adults with suspected dementia as well as providing comprehensive capacity evaluations. She is interested in the assessment and treatment of individuals over the lifespan while her clinical interests are vast and varied (e.g., ADHD, TBIs, learning and developmental disorders, epilepsy, HIV-related disorders, substance use disorders, socio-emotional evaluations, strokes, cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, sleep apnea, and dementia). Dr. Polevoy is affiliated with various hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. Dr. Polevoy is fluent in English, Russian, and Hebrew. Dr. Polevoy's hobbies include traveling, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Benjamin Lowry

Dr. Benjamin Lowry earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University with a concentration in Neuropsychology. He joined Thomson Memory & Attention in 2020 after completion of his clinical internship at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. Dr. Lowry has experience conducting neuropsychological evaluations for children and adults in community clinic and hospital settings across a variety of medical departments (e.g., neurosurgery, medical trauma, and cardiac transplant teams). Additionally, Dr. Lowry has worked with patients in psychological crisis presenting with psychiatric or co-occurring disorders. His clinical interests include acquired brain injuries (e.g., Stroke, TBI, and Concussion), Epilepsy, neurocognitive disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Away from the office, Dr. Lowry enjoys hiking, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and a variety of athletic and fitness endeavors (including slacklining, kettle-belling, and heavy club swinging).

Dr. Caileigh Peters

Dr. Caileigh Peters joined Thomson Memory & Attention as a post-doctoral fellow in 2021 after earning her Doctorate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She completed her APA-accredited internship at the St. Cloud VA with a specific focus in neuropsychology and older adult care. Dr. Peters has experience with neuropsychological, psychological, and therapeutic assessments as well as therapeutic services in a Veterans Affair health care system, outpatient and inpatient co-occurring treatment facilities, a group private practice, and a college counseling center. Her clinical interests include neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders with a particular interest in assessing geriatric patients. Outside of the office, Dr. Peters enjoys spending time with her family, being active and outdoors, making her own pottery, and reading.

Dr. Carissa Harvey

Dr. Carissa Harvey obtained her Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and her Master's and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Harvey's doctoral clinical research project examined cognitive processes and coping strategies associated with psychological growth in adults who had been exposed to trauma and related adversities during childhood. Dr. Harvey has worked in a broad range of clinical settings including inpatient behavioral health hospitals, therapeutic day schools, and multiple private practices. She has advanced training in neuropsychological evaluations and has comprehensive clinical experience providing psychological services to individuals across the lifespan including multimodal therapy. Dr. Harvey is passionate about providing evidence-based methods to guide treatment and case conceptualization. She is one of 11 children and loves spending time with her family, husband, and friends. Dr. Harvey is an avid music lover and enjoys physically challenging activities including bike riding and hiking in the mountains.

Dr. Catherine Avery

Dr. Catherine Avery completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 1988 at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, IL. She has specialized in neuropsychological and psychoeducational testing throughout her career and particularly enjoys the challenge of finding the unique pattern of strengths and weaknesses of each child and adolescent so an appropriate course of treatment can be determined. She has worked in a range of settings including 12 years in a small group practice where she specialized in ADHD, learning disabilities, and emotional and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents from a wide range of communities across Northern Michigan. She greatly valued her time at Sanford Children's Hospital in Sioux Falls where she focused on the neurocognitive impact of a myriad of disorders including head injuries, epilepsy, chemotherapy, and genetic disorders. After moving to the Twin Cities, she worked at Fraser in Bloomington, MN for 8 years where she greatly enjoyed evaluating children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and co-occurring disorders. Dr. Avery values the input of parents, teachers, and other professionals when gathering information, so that the child can be viewed across settings. She has evaluated between 4,000 and 5,000 children over her professional career and delights in discovering their unique personalities. She is pleased to say that her clients almost uniformly state at the end of the evaluation that despite initial trepidation, it was "a lot better than going to school!"

Dr. Christie N. Pellow

Dr. Christie Pellow received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Prior to this pursuit, Dr. Pellow earned a Master of Science in Applied Quantitative Research from The University of West Florida. She completed her doctoral internship at El Paso VA Medical Center in West Texas specializing in comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to assess Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, traumatic brain injuries, and dementia with complex medical comorbidities. During this time, Dr. Pellow acquired skills to provide several evidence-based psychotherapies, including Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. While Dr. Pellow has experience assessing patients across the lifespan, she is particularly fond of working with adults and older adults. For leisure, Dr. Pellow enjoys attending barre classes, rediscovering old books, and learning new recipes.

Dr. Christina Blodgett Dycus - Founder

Dr. Christina Blodgett Dycus is the Founder and Clinical Director of Thomson Memory & Attention, founded in honor of her grandmother's struggle with Alzheimer's disease. She earned her Doctorate from the Illinois Institute of Technology and completed her fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at Loyola University Medical Center. Her clinical interests are in the correlation of neuropsychological data and neuroimaging results. Dr. Blodgett Dycus was born and raised in the northwest suburbs, where she now resides with her own family.

Dr. Christopher Howard

Dr. Christopher Howard completed his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Adler University - Chicago in 2020. Christopher joined Thomson Memory & Attention in July of 2022. Dr. Howard's previous experience includes rotations at the Emory Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, where he worked closely with individuals suffering from traumatic brain injuries, an assortment of cognitive impairments stemming from various diseases, cardiovascular ailments, and surgeries. During his time there, Dr. Howard was integral to the development of the Emory Healthcare Veterans Cognitive Remediation Program where he provided cognitive remediation to service members with traumatic brain injuries. Dr. Howard has been published in the journals Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology and The Clinical Neuropsychologist. Dr. Howard completed an internship at Wasatch Mental Health, which afforded him an opportunity to provide neuropsychological assessment to individuals who were grappling with substance abuse, neurological disorders, ADHD, and strokes. His clinical interests include cognitive aging, health disparity, and community outreach. Dr. Howard was instrumental in developing a community outreach program, Advocates for Community Wellness, which has spearheaded luncheons and mental health awareness raising events throughout the city of Chicago, particularly with respect to Alzheimer's dementia within underserved communities.

Dr. Cynthia Kane

Dr. Cynthia Kane earned her Ph.D. and completed her practicum, internship, and post-doctoral training at The University of Chicago Medical Center in the pediatric neuropsychology program. She remained at the University of Chicago in a joint appointment between Pediatric Neuropsychology and the Section of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Dr. Kane maintained a pediatric head injury clinic at Advocate Lutheran General Children's Hospital. She also spent 6 years at North Shore Pediatric Therapy before joining the Thomson Team. Her clinical interests include traumatic brain injury (TBI), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disorders, and the neuropsychological sequelae of seizure disorders, genetic disorders, and brain tumors. Dr. Kane's interests outside of the office include spending time with her husband and 4 kids and watching the White Sox and her Hawkeyes.

Dr. Danielle Pierson

Dr. Danielle Pierson earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Adler University. She completed her APA-accredited internship at MiraCare Neuro Behavioral Health where she provided neuropsychological evaluations and treatment primarily for children and adolescents with a variety of presentations including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning and language disorders, mood disorders, and complications related to perinatal conditions, toxin exposure, and genetic disorders. Dr. Pierson also has experience with emerging and older adults with progressive or comorbid psychiatric and medical diseases (e.g., early-onset Alzheimer's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, Traumatic Brain injury, and substance abuse). Additionally, Dr. Pierson's clinical interests continue to include neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders, neurocognitive rehabilitation, research, and the examination of neuroimaging results under the neuropsychological lens. Born and raised in the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri, Dr. Pierson enjoys exploring national parks, art museums, and hidden gems within her community. She also enjoys spending time with friends, experimenting with different forms of artistic expression (e.g., graphite, charcoal, and watercolors), and playing with her black-haired feline, Merlin.

Dr. Erica Hymen

Dr. Erica Hymen earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Adler University. Prior to her Doctoral pursuit and eventual focus in neuropsychology, Dr. Hymen earned a Master's in Clinical Counseling from Rosalind Franklin University and worked as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She completed her doctoral internship at Samaritan Health Services in Oregon, opting for a focus in health psychology with minor rotations in neuropsychology. Her clinical interests include neuropsychological evaluation of patients experiencing neurodegeneration, traumatic brain injury, and various health or psychiatric conditions that may impact cognition or functional status. Dr. Hymen was born and raised in the Chicagoland area, and in her free time, she enjoys yoga, cooking, cheering on the White Sox, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Eun-Yeop Lee

Dr. Eun-Yeop Lee obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology at Binghamton University (SUNY Binghamton) and received her Master's and Doctoral degrees in School Psychology with a Pediatric Health Issue specialization at the University of South Florida. She completed an APA-accredited internship at The Watson Institute in Pittsburgh, PA, in Pediatric Neuropsychology specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and medical complications in the early childhood population. Dr. Lee then completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at McLean Hospital: Pathways Academy and private practice in Boston, MA. Dr. Lee has advanced training and extensive experience with conducting neuropsychological, psychological evaluations, and behavioral assessments across outpatient and inpatient hospitals, residential and therapeutic schools, public and private schools, and private practice settings in addition to consultation with multi-disciplinary hospital and school teams. She is an IL and MA Licensed Psychologist, Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Prior to joining the Thomson Team, Dr. Lee held local appointments at Rush NeuroBehavioral Center (RNCB) and Northwestern Medicine-Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital. Dr. Lee's clinical interests include Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning Disorders, and ASD with a particular interest in assessing medically complex cases in children and adolescent populations. Dr. Lee was raised in Buffalo, NY and has lived in the Northeast, South, and Midwest - soaking up and cherishing all these regions and experiences. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, international travel, playing and watching sports, working out, and doing anything outdoors!

Dr. Holly Hagen

Dr. Holly Hagen received her Doctorate in Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology with a concentration in Neuropsychology. She completed her internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York specializing in TBIs, stroke, and anoxic injury. Her formal two-year fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology was completed with Thomson Memory & Attention, and Dr. Hagen has remained a part of the team ever since. She has extensive experience in assessing patients of all ages with a particular focus in pediatrics. During her free time, Dr. Hagen enjoys running, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Jennifer Christopher

Dr. Jennifer Christopher earned her Doctorate in Psychology from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL and completed her APA-accredited internship at the Madison VA on the Geriatric Track. Dr. Christopher has clinical experience in a Veterans Affairs health care system, an academic medical center, a private practice, and community mental health. She has experience working with patients across the lifespan with a particular interest in assessing neurocognitive challenges in older adults. Outside of the office, Dr. Christopher enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and baking.

Dr. Kyle Dennison

Dr. Kyle Dennison was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest where he received most of his education. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Washington and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a Neuropsychology focus at Pacific University in Oregon. He completed his clinical internship at VA Maine Medical Center and joined Thomson Memory & Attention in 2020 as a post-doctoral resident. Dr. Dennison has experience in the neuropsychological assessment of individuals with a variety of medical, neurological, and psychiatric conditions. His clinical interests include neurological disorders and the association between vascular health and neurodegenerative diseases. Outside the office, Dr. Dennison prefers to spend his time exploring new places, reading, watching movies, and being with his family and friends.

Dr. Lana Loomis

Dr. Lana Loomis earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Neuropsychology from Fielding Graduate University. She joined Thomson Memory & Attention as a Neuropsychology Fellow in 2020 after completing her internship with Allina Health. Dr. Loomis has experience working with both adult and older adult populations providing neuropsychological assessment in a hospital-based clinic, neurocognitive rehabilitation, and hospital setting. Working with patients of all ages, she has provided neurocognitive rehabilitation and psychological support services for acquired brain injuries following accidents, cerebrovascular or hypoxic events, and spinal cord injuries. Additionally, Dr. Loomis has experience with psychological assessment and therapeutic services in an integrative behavioral healthcare model within primary care and hospital-based clinics, inpatient psychiatric care, and co-occurring treatment settings. Her clinical interests continue to include neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders, neurocognitive rehabilitation, and research. Outside of the office, Dr. Loomis enjoys cooking, reading, hot yoga, running, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Nickolas Armstrong

Dr. Nickolas Armstrong received his Doctorate in Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a dual focus in Neuropsychology and Health Psychology. He completed his internship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center specializing in the evaluation of Dementia, Epilepsy, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). During this time, Dr. Armstrong also gained experience with psychological evaluations for surgical weight loss, clinical hypnosis, and evidence-based psychotherapy. With experience in assessing patients of all ages, Dr. Armstrong has a particular emphasis on adult and geriatric patients. During his free time, Dr. Armstrong enjoys gardening, exercise, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Olivia Beers

Dr. Olivia Beers earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology with a concentration in Neuropsychology. She completed an APA-accredited internship at the Nebraska-Western Iowa Veteran Affairs Hospital. She is currently pursuing her prescriptive privileges for clinical psychologists in the APA accredited psychopharmacology program at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Dr. Beers has experience in conducting assessments for pre-surgical candidates, movement disorders, dementia, psychiatric comorbidities, and traumatic brain injuries. Her clinical interests are in neurodegenerative diseases and movement disorders within the adult population. Outside the office, she enjoys playing on recreational sports teams, snowboarding, and outdoor activities.

Dr. Paige Jablonski

Dr. Paige Jablonski joined Thomson Memory & Attention as a post-doctoral fellow in 2021 after earning her doctorate from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. She completed her internship with the Twin Cities Psychology Internship Program with a focus in integrated health in a primary care clinic for pediatrics. Dr. Jablonski has a broad range of clinical experience including neuropsychological and psychological assessments, as well as providing therapeutic services in both outpatient and integrated care settings. Dr. Jablonski's clinical interests include working with the pediatric and geriatric populations. Outside of the office, Dr. Jablonski enjoys cooking, baking, and gardening.

Dr. Shana Muslin

Dr. Shana Muslin received her Doctorate from Palo Alto University with a focus in Clinical Neuropsychology. She completed her clinical internship at The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL where she provided inpatient and outpatient neuropsychological services at the Rehabilitation Hospital for neurological patients. Her clinical interests revolve around neurological disorders throughout the lifespan that include movement disorders, neurodegeneration, traumatic brain injuries, and neuro-oncology. She has a specific interest in cross-cultural neuropsychology and underserved populations. Dr. Muslin was born and raised in the Chicagoland area and enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking with her dog, and being with family and friends in her free time.

Dr. Stephanie R. Potts

Dr. Stephanie R. Potts received her Master of Science in Psychology at Montana State University Billings and attained her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Marquette University. She completed her post-doctoral residency in Clinical Neuropsychology at the St. Louis VA Healthcare System and then began her career as a neuropsychologist at SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital Network in St. Louis before moving to Illinois to be closer to family. Her clinical interests include neurodegenerative disorders, cerebrovascular accidents, traumatic brain injuries, and comorbid psychiatric disorders. Dr. Potts focuses on assessment of adult and geriatric populations. In her free time, Dr. Potts enjoys hiking, finding new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Taylor Greco

Dr. Taylor Greco earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Prior to starting her post-doctoral fellowship at Thomson Memory & Attention in 2021, Dr. Greco completed her pre-doctoral internship from The Bowen Center where she focused on ADHD evaluations and trauma-focused therapy. Dr. Greco has experience assessing and treating clients across the lifespan with a strong interest in working with children and adolescents. Dr. Greco grew up in the western suburbs and enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her golden retriever Rex.

Heather Paterson

Heather Paterson joined Thomson Memory & Attention in 2022 and is assisting our teen, adult, and older adult populations. Heather believes therapy is an invaluable collaborative effort and views her role as one that empowers clients to explore the challenging issues they may be facing while providing deeper insight, self-awareness, and ultimately greater self-reliance. She integrates complementary techniques including, but not limited to, mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered, solutions-focused, and strengths-based approaches to create a personalized and holistic plan tailored to meeting each client where they are at. Heather works with teens, adults, and older adults with anxiety and anxiety related disorders, depression, ADHD, and stress management issues. Taking the first step towards personal growth can be difficult, and Heather approaches all her clients with empathy, understanding, and encouragement.

Trish Lingo

Trish Lingo is a talented clinical therapist with proven expertise in supporting clients through wide-ranging issues and situations with therapeutic modalities and evidence-based practices. Her treatment approach is holistic and eclectic drawing from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, client-centered, mindfulness-based theories, and strength-based theories to better understand problems and bring about growth and change. Trish is devoted to helping each individual work through anxiety, depression, life-transitions, and other problems. Trish understands it can be difficult to seek out help. As an empathetic therapist, her goal is to provide clients with a supportive and non-judgmental place to feel safe expressing feelings, overcoming barriers, and begin healing. Building those relationships between therapist and patient takes time and patience, but it all begins with the first step.
