The fund has provided its members with predictability and stability of pricing since the fund commenced operations September 23, 1992. The fund has proven to be an insurance program offering many services that provide aggressive claims' processing and adjudication, legal services, safety and loss control services and other programs in an effort to keep costs down. The fund provides a comprehensive program incorporating all of the liabilities and exposures that municipalities throughout the state have to contend with.
