STOPSLEY STRIDERS

Stopsley Striders are an inclusive running club. We were formed in 1982 by local international athlete Tony Simmons. 2022 is our 40th Anniversary and we now have a membership of around 200... In the spring and the summer, most of our racing is on the road. We enter runners in all the county championships and have had many county champions. Many of our runners travel in groups to races further a field, such as the Great North Run and we have also organised coaches to the London Marathon and other races for our members. Don't think we are a club for high flyers, we have all levels of ability and ages from 18 to over 70 years old.
