THE MOTHS

39 years after we last played together, The Moths met up in the autumn of 2009, in an isolated cottage in the depths of the Lake District, to record 4 brand new tracks. Since then we spent a weekend in June 2010 rehearsing a further dozen songs, and, in April 2012, spent a weekend in studios in York recording a new album, The Return of The Heron's Daughter, now available here... Since meeting up in 2009 after a break of 39 years, The Moths have played at Richmond Live in 2018, and twice at the Dionysus Festival of Psychedelia - in 2017 and 2019. Our flautist, Neil, was unable to make the Richmond Live gig, but we were very fortunate that Helena Bidder was able to join the band for the day, playing oboe.
