Jerry Gandhi

Job Titles:
  • Trustee Director
  • Trustee Director View Profile
Jerry has over 40 years pensions experience with the earlier years culminating as Global Pensions Director for Inchcape plc in 1999. Since then Jerry has operated as a freelance pension specialist focusing on supporting Trustees and the sponsoring employer through change scenarios for DB and DC schemes often when the need for change had become critical.

Jim Robson

Job Titles:
  • Trustee Director
  • Trustee Director View Profile
Jim joined 20-20 Trustees in November 2020 and has worked in pensions for over 35 years. Originally involved in advising companies and trustees as a Senior Consultant at Mercer and Aon for around 20 years, Jim moved in house when his main client decided that employing him direct rather than paying consultants' rates was a more effective option, and he has worked in house since. He has significant experience of managing large DB and DC pension schemes, ranging from c£3bn to £17bn, managing a small in-house team of 5 to a large team of c100. His view, however, is that the size of the scheme is somewhat academic, and all members and stakeholders deserve a high level of governance and support to ensure the best outcomes. Of late, Jim has spent significant time and effort devising risk management strategies, focussing on long term funding objectives. Integrating funding, investment and covenant issues within a risk management framework ensures that companies and trustees focus their limited time budget on the right things. Working as a trustee adviser means that Jim knows what it takes to manage multiple stakeholders, at times with different objectives and timelines. Being able to influence mutually acceptable outcomes is key to ensuring healthy relationships. Outside of work, Jim spends (in his wife's mind too much of) his time golfing and screaming at the TV when the rugby is on. Sadly, despite many years of practice, his golf handicap hasn't as yet matched the time, effort and cost expended!
